Five years ago today I published the very first video on my YouTube channel, "Drawing Bad Garfields". Back then, the channel was simply called "Tad". Back in 2017, I had given up on drawing for a few months, and for the first time in my life I wasn't creating.
Eventually, I started drawing weird, disgusting, abstract Garfield creatures. Back when I was like 5, Garfield is what got me into drawing comic strips, and when I was 19 it's what got me back into it, so I owe a lot to the funny cat!
A lot of people seemed to like my Garfield drawings, so I thought it would be fun to make a YouTube video showing my process of creating one. I had quit my previous YouTube channel the year before and I just wanted a fresh start on "Tad" I guess.... wait....
Anyway thank you all for five years of this. I was going to do an anniversary video to celebrate it, but it was really bad and I didn't finish editing it. I do have a two new videos that should hopefully be out within the next couple weeks though! Here's to five more years of doing whatever it is I do.
